My Personal Healing Journey (And What Truly Changed My Life)

My health journey really began when I saw my parents suffering under the weight of the Standard American Diet — chronic disease, medications, and declining energy. I realized I was headed down the same path, and I didn’t want that future.

I was inflamed, tired, and disconnected from my body. But I thought that was “normal” for my age.

Then one day at work, a friend told me, “You have to listen to this podcast.”
It was The Model Health Show by Shawn Stevenson — and it changed everything for me.

That podcast opened my eyes to real health principles: gut health, inflammation, food quality, sleep, strength training, nervous system health — all the things I had never been taught.

I started making small changes:

  • cleaning up my food

  • increasing protein

  • ditching refined sugar & seed oils

  • adding fermented foods

  • repairing my gut

  • supporting my body with red light & infrared sauna

  • strength training

  • improving my sleep

And guess what?
My health transformed.
I felt like I finally got my life back.

That’s why I became a coach — because people deserve to know that feeling tired, inflamed, and stuck is NOT normal… and not permanent.

Today, I help people who feel like they’ve tried “everything” finally find what actually works.
